Peru is a located in Bennington County, Vermont.  It is situated between Londonberry and Manchester, and is 30 miles from both Bennington and Windsor.

Peru is home to Bromley Mountain and the Bromley Mountain Ski Area.  It is also home to the Hapgood Pond Recreational Area and two fish ponds.  The town hosts the annual Peru Fair every fall.

Peru Vermont was home to 416 residents, according to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau.  This consisted of 157 households and 118 families.  Peru Vermont is comprised of 37.3 square miles of land and 0.1 square miles of water.
