Londonderry is a rural New England town located in the western part of Rockingham County, New Hampshire. It is bounded on the north by Manchester and on the east by Derry. Londonderry is located just forty minutes from Boston. Londonderry dates back to 1718, when it was named Nutfield. It was then renamed Londonderry in 1722 and was later divided into the towns of Londonderry, Derry, Windham, and portions of Hudson, Manchester and Salem. The White Mountains, the sea shore and Londonderry’s lakes and rivers attract tourists to the town. The town is home to dozens of private and public golf courses, a conservation area with hiking trails and the Morrison House Museum. It boasts an abundance of beautiful apple orchards. The town’s Apple Way, is a scenic highway that connects the town’s five orchards and provides view of the orchards, farmhouses and landmarks.
